Hi! I'm Miss D, the original Fun Tutor! Our story began with the simple vision of a passionate educator (Me!), who had firsthand witnessed the challenges students were facing on a daily basis in the classroom. Watching students dread learning in a boring environment, losing their focus and attention, and lacking the one-on-one support they needed, drove me to create a more meaningful learning experience for them. I found that students were learning more when lessons were engaging and interactive! I had the desire to bring something to the table that other big tutoring companies didn't have: A more personal and engaging approach to professional tutoring. At The Fun Tutor we are driven by the personal connection we share with each of our students and families. We are the cheerleaders of our students, and we go the extra mile to see them succeed! Our goal is for our students to feel inspired and fulfilled from learning, not the contrary.
