Throughout my childhood, fake school was always my go-to favorite playtime activity! Overtime, I became sure that my future would be teaching and inspiring children. This led me to pursue my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Florida, graduating with honors. During my time at UF, I received my Reading Endorsement, ESOL Endorsement, an official Teaching Certificate, and a handful of classroom experience. One unique thing about me as a teacher, is that I love to make my lessons as creative and engaging as possible! When I am  not teaching, you can find me at the beach, the springs, exercising, cooking, and spending time with my loved ones. I like to say I'm a bubbly, outgoing, and friendly person, who values making a difference in the lives of others!

When I was young I went to a very small community school, where I felt deeply cared for and supported by my teachers. That experience inspired me to give that same experience to my own students. In 2017, I graduated with my postgraduate degree in Elementary Education in the United Kingdom. After moving to Florida, I got the opportunity to work in a Montessori classroom for 5 years, eventually to become a Montessori certified teacher too. I am beyond grateful to have an understanding of both the traditional education system, as well as alternative approaches to education. I believe this has been an invaluable treasure in my teaching practice, allowing me to support the whole child on their individual learning journey.

Hello, I'm Miss Kristina! I hold a Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education and have taught in both elementary and middle school environments. In my various roles as an Education Director, Teacher, and Coach, I have supported students in their learning journeys. My goal is to foster a fun and engaging learning atmosphere for every student. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, long walks, and baking delightful treats. I have a passion for learning and embracing new adventures, as life becomes even more enjoyable when you boldly explore the unknown. I can't wait to meet your little learner!

Becoming an educator has been my lifelong career goal! My mother is a public school teacher, and even as a child, I was inspired by the joy that she brought into the classroom. I loved to sit at her desk after school and pretend that I was the teacher. Since graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Florida in 2020, I have made it my mission to teach with creativity and kindness. As a graduate student, I have tutored K-12 students and currently teach in the University classroom. With all of my students, I always aim to foster a positive and engaging learning environment!

I am not currently teaching, as I transitioned to a full-time Virtual Assistant role, where I handle administrative tasks for The Fun Tutor. I am thrilled to be a part of The Fun Tutor team!

Watching my students succeed is, and has been, one of the greatest joys of my life. Undergoing extensive teacher training in UF's Pro-Teach Bachelors Degree for Elementary Education program has given me the skills to fine tune my tutoring sessions to each student's needs and really watch them excel. Being a teacher, coach, and inspiration to so many wonderful and talented children is what drives me to improve my teaching practices and be the best version of a teacher I can be. I enjoy keeping my student's interested in the learning process with academic games, creative activities, and critical thinking engagement. My goal is that there is never a dull moment in my classroom, or tutoring sessions! I truly believe that an engaging and interest-sparking environment is the most beneficial atmosphere for students to thrive, grow, and challenge themselves toward success.
